Rajnath Singh announce compensation to slain NDMC officer's family

Home Minister Rajnath Singh today announced an ex-gratia of 25 lakh rupees to the family of Mohammed Moin Khan who was allegedly murdered in New Delhi on 16th of this month. Moin Khan was an estate officer of New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC). <br/>Announcing the compensation, the Home Minister also directed the NDMC to provide all required help to Khan's family and examine the possibility of providing a job to one of his family members. The deceased was a lawyer and an assistant legal advisor with the NDMC. <br/><br/>The police have arrested the owner of a four-star hotel in the city and six others in connection with the murder of the 57-year-old officer.<br/><br/>Meanwhile, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has also announced compensation of one crore rupees to the family of the slain officer. The NDMC has offered a job to one of the family members of the deceased officer and allotted a house to them.
