Home Minister Rajnath Singh lauded the contribution of noted Hindi litterateur Namvar Singh and described him as a beacon of the art. Felicitating the renowned writer and thinker, who turned 90 yesterday, Mr Singh said Namvar Singh busts the myth of popularity by achieving the kind of fame usually reserved for celebrities, sports stars or politicians. <br/><br/>The Home Minister said this at the First Cultural Dialogue Series, organised by Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts in New Delhi. Addressing the event, Culture Minister Mahesh Sharma said Namvar Singh has immensely contributed in enriching Indian culture.
