Rajnath assures security to students in NIT Srinagar

Home Minister Rajnath Singh has assured proper security to the students studying at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Srinagar saying there would be no harm done to them. He said he has already spoken to Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti on the prevailing situation and she has assured the safety of all students. <br/><br/>Mr Singh also said, the Chief Minister informed him that an inquiry will be conducted to find out the cause of the incident and also fix responsibility. The Home Minister said security personnel have been deployed at the engineering institute after the tension.<br/><br/>Human Resource Development Minister Smriti Irani also took up the issue with Mehbooba Mufti. In a tweet, she said, she spoke to Chief Minister who assured her about the safety and justice to students.
