<span style="color: #000000;">Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lalan Singh has been appointed the National President of Janta Dal (United). The decision was taken in the meeting of National Executive of the party held in New Delhi yesterday. He has replaced Union Steel Minister RCP Singh as JD(U) President. The new President of JD (U) is the Member of Parliament from Munger Lok Sabha Constituency in Bihar. Former Water Resources Minister of Bihar, Rajiv Ranjan Singh is considered a confidante of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.</span><br />
