Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Rajiv Pratap Rudy today flagged off 150 Skill Vans to create awareness among masses about the Government's initiatives and policies of the skill development. On the occasion of the first ever World Youth Skills Day , these vans will drive through Delhi and NCR region to create awareness about Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikash Yojana, National Skill Development Mission and Skill Loan initiative.<br/><br/>Speaking on the occasion, Mr Rudy said, the planned and sustained skill development of the youth of this country is essential to increase their job prospects. He said, Prime Minister has created a new Ministry for the first time after 67 years of independence to focus on skill development and entrepreneurship. He said, short duration courses can open new job opportunities for the unemployed in the country.
