The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Rajiv Jain as the Director of Intelligence Bureau and AK Dhasmana, as Secretary Research and Analysis Wing (R&AW) for a period of two years. <br/><br/>Mr. Jain, an IPS officer of 1980 batch of Jharkhand cadre, is currently working as Special Director in the Intelligence Bureau. Mr. Dhasmana, a 1981 batch IPS officer of Madhya Pradesh cadre, is posted as Special Secretary in the R&AW.<br/>
