Rajiv Gandhi National Sadbhavana Award will be presented on Sunday to founder and Chief Patron of the organization that popularized the Jaipur Foot D R Mehta in New Delhi for his outstanding contribution towards the promotion of communal harmony, peace and goodwill.

The award, which carries a citation and cash of five lakh rupees, is being given to Mehta on the eve of birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi. Mehta is a former chairman of the Securities and Exchange Board of India.
