The prestigious Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Award for this year will be given to ace Shooter Ronjon Sodhi. 15 sportspersons including Cricketer Virat Kohili and Shuttler P.V. Sindhu have been selected for Arjuna Awards. The Government announced the National Sports Awards-2013 yesterday after recommendations of the Selection Committees.Five persons have been selected for Dronacharya Awards while Dhyan Chand Awards will be given to four sports persons. Rashtriya Khel Protsahan Puraskar will be conferred upon four organizations. The awardees will receive their awards from President Pranab Mukherjee on the 31st of this month.
