Rajat Chauhan has stormed into the final of the compound section of the World Archery Championships in Copenhagen. The 2014 Asian Games team gold medalist beat Camilo Cardona of Colombia 143-138 to set up a clash against local challenger Stephen Hansen in the final which will be held on Saturday. Laxmirani Majhi also advanced to the bronze playoff in the individual section of the women's recurve. She secured a straight set win over fifth seed Alejandra Valencia of Mexico in a tense quarterfinal shoot off which she clinched 9-8. Laxmirani will next take on Misun Choi of Korea in the bronze medal play-off. Deepika Kumari however,crashed out in the first match of the day.
