Rajasthan to expand banking services

The Government has decided to expand Banking Services to sixty thousand villages of up to the population of two thousand in next two years. <br/><br/>Minister of State for Finance Mr. Namonarayan Meena said that provision of 16500 crore rupees has been made for financial strengthening of Banks in the Budget inaugurating the regional office of Syndicate Bank in Jaipur. <br/><br/>Mr. Meena said that regional rural Bank have also directed to open two thousand new branches in remote areas this years. He said that the Government has decided to provide loan of 5 per cent interest to three lack seventy five thousand farmers in the country.
