Rajasthan police will continue investigations against noted social critic Ashish Nandi. Jaipur Police commissioner B.L. Soni today told Media Persons that despite supreme court's order in this case investigations can be continued. He said that a team of Jaipur police is in Delhi since last few days to contact Ashish Nandi. A case was registered against him during Jaipur Literature Festival.

Earlier in the day the Supreme Court stayed Ashis Nandy's arrest in connection with his controversial anti-Dalit remarks. The apex court directed the police not to arrest the sociologist in connection with the matter.
