The Rajasthan High Court today ordered to constitute a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to monitor the measures taken to check illegal mining in the state. A High Court Bench headed by Chief Justice Arun Mishra today ordered to constitute this team while hearing several PILs in this regard. Retired High Court Judge, K S Chaudhary will head The SIT. This team will present its report on the present status of mining and action-plan to check illegal mining, before the High Court in two weeks.
