Rajasthan HC likely to hear today petition filed by rebel Cong MLAs

The rebel MLAs of Congress have filed a petition in the Rajasthan High Court and challenged the notices issued by the Rajasthan Assembly. The Court is likely to hear the petition this afternoon.<br />'' <br />'' The notices were issued to 19 Congress MLAs including Sachin Pilot by the Secretary of the Rajasthan Assembly, Pramil Kumar Mathur after the party sought their disqualification from the state assembly.<br />'' <br />'' Sacked Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot and the other MLAs were asked to respond to the notices by Friday. The notices were issued on a petition filed by Chief whip Mahesh Joshi. The MLAs had defied a whip and did not attend its Congress legislature party meetings held on Monday and Tuesday.<br />'' <br />'' Mr. Joshi wrote to the Speaker, seeking proceedings against the rebel MLAs in accordance with the 10th Schedule of the Constitution.  <br />
