Rajasthan HC admits habeas corpus petition filed by missing nurse husband

The Rajasthan High Court on Tuesday admitted the habeas corpus petition filed by the husband of missing Auxillary Nurse and Midwife, ANM, Bhanwari Devi. After preliminary hearing, the bench comprising of Justice Sangeet Lodha and Justice Chandmal Totla issued notices to the Home Secretary, the Inspector General of Police, Jodhpur Range and Supdt. of Police (Rural), to personally appear before the court on coming Thursday.All of them have been asked to inform the court about the action taken so far to trace the missing ANM. The Investigation Officer of the case has also been summoned along with the case diary. Next hearing in the case will take place on the same day.The ANM Bhanwari Devi is missing from Borunda in Jodhpur district from 1st of this month. The police have not been able to trace her so far.Meanwhile, husband of the missing ANM on Tuesday lodged a complaint in a court of Bilara against Water resources minister of the state, Mahipal Maderna. This complaint has been lodged under sections 302,376 and 120-A of IPC related to murder, kidnapping and conspiracy. The court will hear this complaint on Wednesday.
