The Rajasthan Government will provide 24 hour electricity to all 39357 villages by the end of this financial year. Energy Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh today made this announcement in the state assembly during question hour.He said that Rajasthan will self reliant in power sector in next year by producing 5 thousand MW electricity. Dr. Singh informed that infrastructure for power supply in rural areas is ready and farmers will get 8 hours electricity for Rabi crop also. He said that 1156 grid sub stations have been installed in the state in last three years. The Energy Minister said that transmission losses are above 20 percent in 8366 villages and power companies are trying to reduce it by adopting various methods
