The Rajasthan Government has enhanced the minimum wages of all categories of workers.The revised rates will be effective from 1st May.This announcement was made by the Chief Minister Mr. Ashok Gehlot while replying to the debate on finance and appropriation bill in the state assembly today.The amount of MLA led fund has also been doubled from 1 to 2 Cr Rs.The Chief Minister also announced the recruitment of 20000 municipal workers to strengthen cleanliness and sanitation programmes .The National Health Insurance Scheme for the unorganized labourers will now be implemented in all the district headquarters off the state.Announcing other welfare measures Mr Gehlot said that artificial limbs and other organs will now be provided to the disabled belonging to non income tax payer families.The scholership of students belonging to SC,ST and minority communities has also been increased,Expressing concern over growing cyber crime in the state the Chief Minister informed the house that a special cyber police station shall be open in Jaipur apart from this 7 new police circles,19 police stations and 36 police check posts will be established in different parts of the state.Today the house also gave its consent to increase the salaries and perks of MLAs,Ministers. later the house passed finance and appropriation bill by voice vote and the adjourned till 26th April.
