Rajasthan Govt decides to fasten process of handing over more powers to Panchayats

The Rajasthan Government has decided to fasten the process of handing over more powers to Panchayats. The state cabinet today decided to constitute a 3 ministers committee which will suggest the ways to empower panchayats by handing over them works of Primary education, Health, Agriculture,Social justice and Child and Women development departments. In an another decision the cabinet decided to declare areas of cement grade lime stone in Nagaur and Jaisalmer districts unreserved. This decision will promote cement industry in the state.
