The Rajasthan Govt has decided to speed up the process of handing over more powers to Panchayats. The state cabinet today decided to constitute a 3 ministers committee for this. The committee will suggest the ways to empower panchayats by handing over them works of Primary education,Health, Agriculture,Social justice and Child and Women development departments. In an another decision the cabinet decided to declare areas of cement grade lime stone in Nagaur and Jaisalmer district unreserved. This decision will promote cement industry in the state. The state govt has increased minimum daily wages by 10 Rupees to raise it to Rs 135 per day.
