The Rajasthan government has banned the production, sale, distribution and storage of gutkha and tobacco mix paan masala .The decision was taken at a meeting of council of ministers presided over by Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot at Jaipur today.The ban on gutkha and paan masala will result in revenue loss of 125 crore rupees every year for the state exchequer. Mr Gehlot said that 25000 to 10 lakh Rupees penalty will be imposed on illegal sell,production,marketing and production of Gutkha in the state.
