AIR correspondent reports health of the people in rural areas is being monitored.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Rs 50 thousand to Gram Panchayats and Rs One lakh have been given to the Panchyat Samities for security kits, sanitizing work and other needs to deal with COVID-19 situation. MLAs have been empowered to recommend up to Rs One lakh for providing masks and sanitizers from their MLA fund and up to Rs Five lakh for the purchase of medical equipment and materials. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">People coming from other districts and cities in villages are being identified and quarantined. Quarantine centers have also been identified in gram panchayats. Disaster Management Department has formed a core group at the Panchayat Headquarters under the chairmanship of the Principal, which is helping to ensure social distancing and distribution of ration. Ration packets are being distributed to needy families. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Teachers and Anganwadi workers have been deployed to maintain social distancing at post offices, banks and ration distribution shops.
