Rajasthan Governor S K Singh, a former Foreign Secretary, died in Delhi on Tuesday after a prolonged illness. Singh, 77, was admitted in the ICU of Ganga Ram Hospital in the city since 5th of November 5. He is survived by his wife and two sons. According to state government sources, Singh's body was taken to his residence at New Friends Colony. Singh joined the IFS in 1954 and held several important assignments before he became the Foreign Secretary in February 1989.<br/>The Rajasthan government has declared seven days state mourning in honour of Governor S.K. Singh. The State government offices will be closed on Wednesday. The Chief Minister of Rajasthan has condoled the death of Mr. S.K. Singh. In his message, the Chief Minister said that Singh was having vast knowledge of national and international affairs. Mr. Singh will be cremated in Delhi on Wednesday. <br/>
