The Rajasthan government has recommended a CBI probe into controversial land deals allegedly executed by a company owned by Congress President Sonia Gandhi's son-in-law, Robert Vadra. State Home Minister Gulab Chand Katariya said, the state government has sought CBI investigation in the case.<br/><br/>The Rajasthan police had lodged 16 FIRs at Bikaner's Gajner police station and two FIRs at Kolayat police station in connection with fraudulent land deals involving 377.44 hectares of land in Bikaner district. The deals had taken place between 2009 and 2011. The state government later canceled the mutation and revenue department discovered the allotments had been made in the names of fake private person. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) too was pursuing the matter and had conducted raids in this regards after registering a case of money laundering.
