In Rajasthan, Kumabalgarh has been declared a National Park. This decision was taken in the Cabinet meeting held in Jaipur on Monday. The National Park which spreads in Udaipur, Rajsamand and Pali districts, will have a total area of around 500 sq. kms.The Cabinet which was presided by Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot also took some other important decisions. According to one such decision, a women employee adopting child below one year of age will get Child Adoption Leave of 180 days. The Cabinet also sanctioned 650 crore rupees for Jaipur Metro Project so that it could commence in time.Later talking to newsmen, Mr. Gehlot said that the issue of FDI in retail sector also came up for discussion during the meeting. He said that any decision in this regard will be taken after examining the Union Cabinet’s decision, so that the interests of farmers and customers are safeguarded.
