Chief Minister of Rajasthan Ashok Gehlot has given in principle approval for the incentive package of 3376 crores Rs.to HPCL for setting up an oil refinery in Barmer district. This package will be for 15 years after the start of commercial production by HPCL.The Chief Minister also wrote a letter to the Petroleum Minister Veerappa Moily and requested him to direct the HPCL to give early approval to the Refinery in Rajasthan. He said the formal approval of the Refinery will fulfill the long awaited expectations of the people of the State.
