<span style="color: #222222;">Chief Minister of Rajasthan Ashok Gehlot conducted an aerial survey of areas affected by cyclone Biporjoy in Barmer and Jalore districts on Tuesday. He did an aerial survey of Chohtan in Barmer, Sanchore in Jalore and Abu Road in Sirohi. He interacted with the people of the affected areas. Interacting with the media, Mr. Gehlot said that many houses, animals and school buildings have been damaged. Six persons have died in the incidents due to heavy rains.<br />''<br />''Along with the army, 17 teams of SDRF and 8 teams of NDRF are engaged in relief and rescue operations. The state government has instructed the officials to conduct a survey of the damages in the affected areas. According to the primary assessment, about nine thousand houses, more than 250 school buildings have been damaged. Power supply has been affected in many villages and towns due to the uprooting of more than 10,000 electric poles and transformers. The district administrations have been directed to restore power supply in the villages, repair roads and help the affected families.</span><br />
