Rajasthan Assembly suspends BJP whip Rathore for one year

In Rajasthan, amidst heavy protest, BJP whip Rajendra Rathore has been suspended for one year from the State assembly. The motion moved by Congress Chief whip Virendra Beniwal alleging Rathore for his unparliamentary behaviour and stalling the proceedings since two days. <br/><br/>The House passed this motion with voice vote and speaker Dipendra Singh Shekhawat called security personnel in the House to protect treasury members. More than 100 security personnel created a wall between opposition and treasury benches while BJP MLAs started slogan shouting against the government. The House was adjourned four times and finally for whole day on this issue.<br/><br/>BJP MLAs started dharna in the House in protest agaisnt suspension of Rathore. Before this, opposition BJP presented a censure motion against Home Minister Shanti Dhariwal for his alleged indecent language to a BJP MLA Hanuman Beniwal yesterday who was also suspended from the House yesterday.<br/>
