Rajasthan Assembly passes Right to hearing bill

The Rajasthan State Assembly passed Right to hearing bill with voice vote on Thursday. It will provide opportunities to common people to lodge complaints if their any grievances will be unheard by the officials. Rajasthan is the first state which introduced this bill. According to the provisions of the bill the State Government will appoint Public hearing officers and all complaints will be disposed within the stipulated time. Facilitation centre, call centre and help desks would also be established for effective implementation of this bill.
