Rajasthan Assembly adjourned till Friday

The Monsoon session of the Rajasthan Assembly has started in Jaipur today. The BJP has demanded a debate on the issue of corruption and the Rajasthan Guaranteed Delivery of Public Services Act. The Leader of opposition Mrs. Vasundhara Raje said that the debate should be scheduled in the current session. Speaker Deependra Singh Shekhawat said that Business Advisory Committee of the House will take a decision on this demand. Unsatisfied, the BJP and CPIM MLAs walked out from the House. Today, the government presented 11 amendment Bills in the House and paid obituary to nine former members of the Assembly and three other leaders. The House was adjourned till Friday.
