In Rajasthan, the proceedings of the State Assembly were adjourned thrice over the demand for debate on corruption. When the house met on Friday morning, BJP and CPI(M) MLAs demanded a debate on this issue. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot interevened and said that the government is ready for debate on corruption. But the Opposition demanded for adjournment of question hour. Amid hue and cry, the Speaker adjournned the House for one hour and later till 1.00 PM. When the House reassembled, Opposition MLAs came into the well of the House and started slogan shouting. The House was again adjourned for one hour. Meanwhile, the government tabled a bill regarding Guranteed Delivery of Public Services.
