In Rajasthan, State level Independence Day function was organized in Jaipur where Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot hoisted the tricolour. He honoured 44 police and 4 civil officials for their excellent work. In his address, Mr Gehlot announced that state government will introduce guaranteed delivery of public services Act to ensure availability of all public service to common people. He said that it will prepare a land acquisition policy and protect farmers' interests. On this occasion more than 1000 school children presented colorful folk dances.
