The Union Cabinet today approved the renaming of the Rajasansi International Airport at Amritsar as Sri Guru Ram Dass Jee International Airport, Amritsar. Guru Ram Dass Jee was the fourth of the Ten Gurus of Sikhs and was the founder of the city of Amritsar. His whole life was an embodiment of love, devotion, dedication and service. The Airports Authority of India (AAI) operates and manages the existing Rajasansi International Airport at Amritsar .
