Rajapaksa to hold talks with Prez, PM in New Delhi today

Visiting Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa will today hold talks with President Pranab Mukherjee and Prime minister Manmohan singh in New Delhi this evening. Mr. Rajapaksha arrived on a three-day official visit last night. AIR correspondent reports that, during the official meetings, India is expected to raise issue of rehabilitation of war-displaced Tamils in Sri Lanka. New Delhi is also expected to press for a long-term inclusive solution to the ethnic Tamil issue in the Island nation.
During his visit to India, the Srilankan President will visit the Sanchi Stupa and also lay the foundation stone for the International University of Buddhist & Indic Studies at Sanchi in Madhya Pradesh.
