Transport Minister of Rajasthan, Yunus Khan has assured that Rajasthan Roadways will not be privatized. Mr Khan was replying during a call attention motion in the zero hour in the State Assembly. Mr Khan said that Government has decided to set up a bus port authority and denationalize all nationalized routes in the state to provide better bus services in rural areas in the state. He said that both private and roadways buses will be operated from same bus stand and fares will be decided by the government. Transport Minister said that no roadways employee will be shunted out in this procedure.Earlier, the State Assembly today witnessed noisy scenes over the issue of food security act. In the question hour, MOS for Food and Civil Supply, Hemsingh Bhadana said that 5 crore, 31 lakh people were selected for subsidized food grains by the previous Congress Government under food security Act.He alleged the previous government had included many people in this scheme on political grounds and his department will verify these lists in next six months. Opposition Congress MLAs opposed these allegations and demanded a high level inquiry.
