Rajasthan Police has arrested a Union Home Ministry official in connection with Pokhran espionage case.A suspected ISI agent Sumer Khan was arrested in Pokhran on February 24th for allegedly sharing information regarding defence instalments and activities near the border area in the desert state.Director General of Police,harish Chandra Meena said that the employee was summoned to Jaipur from Delhi for questioning on Sunday and was placed under arrest last night for sharing classified information with the spy. He will be produced in a local court today. Addl DGP (Intelligence)
Dalpat Singh Dinkar said,the accused had links with Sumer Khan.Khan allegedly shared information about IAF's fire power exercise 'Iron Fist' held on February 22nd in Pokhran in Jaisalmer district with Pakistan's intelligence agency ISI.
