In Uttar Pradesh, ruling Bahujan Samaj Party has won Lalitpur, Hainsar Bazar and Isauli assembly seats while its candidates are leading in Powayan (Reserved), Badrauna, Rari, Etawah, Bharthana constituencies. BSP's candidate Dashrath Chauhan has won the Haisar Bazar assembly seat of Sant Kabir Nagar district defeating his nearest congress’ rival Neelmani with a margin of 8797 votes. The official announcement is yet to come. Our Lucknow correspondent reports, in Firozabad, Congress candidate Raj Babbar is leading over his SP rival by over 28,000 votes at the end of 9th round of counting.
