India Meteorological Department – IMD has said that monsoon will gain pace in the next 2 to 3 days as conditions are favourable. Talking to AIR , the IMD Director R.C Vasishtha said that northern parts of the country including Delhi and adjoining areas may receive light rains in the next 24 hours. Our Correspondnet reports that monsoon missed the date of 29th June in the national capital as wind conditions over Uttar Pradesh have delayed monsoon advancement.
