Torrential downpour has disrupted normal life in the Konkan region of Maharashtra since on Sunday. While the Raigad district is still receiving torrential downpour, the rains have receded from the Sindudurg and Ratnagiri districts of Konkan.Traffic on the Mumbai – Goa highway is still at halt due to a landslide that occurred on Kashedi ghat in the Raigad district.AIR correspondent from Raigad has reported that out of the 50 missing fishermen who venturing into rough sea, 44 have returned back safely while 6 others are still missing.Meanwhile Train Services on the Konkan Railway are operational with delays following progress in the work of clearing debris from the tracks. The Railway route was disrupted due to water logging and accumulation of mud on the tracks at Pomendi Village between Ratnagiri and Nivsar.
