The rain refused to take a break in Mumbai for the fourth consecutive day today. Incessant rain lashed parts of the city and its suburbs today early morning.According to the Met department, in the last 21 hours ending at 5.30 this morning, the Colaba station of south Mumbai recorded 116.2mm of rainfall while the suburban Santacruz station recorded 81.2mm of rainfall. The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) control room informed that there was no major water logging in the city. Suburban rail services also remained largely unaffected.However, on Tuesday, Mumbaikars had to face difficulties as both the rail and road movement was hampered due to continuous rains. Meanwhile the Met department has predicted intermittent rain to heavy rain accompanied by gusty winds in parts of the city and suburbs till tomorrow.
