In Tamil Nadu, reservoirs are once again fast filling up. As the North east monsoon has been very active in catchment areas of Thanjavur and Tiruvarur farmers are once again happy.<br/><br/>Rains have been vigorous throughout the coastal districts for the past four days. Veeranam and Poondi reservoirs which supply water to Chennai are also brimming with water.<br/><br/>With the Met Department’s prediction of isolated heavy to very heavy rainfall over coastal Tamil Nadu, the district administrations in Kanchipuram, Tiruvarur, Cuddalore, Puducottai, Tiruvarur and Thanjavur have declared a holiday for schools today. Chennai has been receiving moderate rainfall since yesternight.<br/><br/> <br/><br/>
