Rainfall has increased in various regions of Maharashtra. The pace of rainfall has increased in Kankavli and Kudaal region of Sindhudurg District. Flooding on the Amberi Bridge led to lost of contact between 32 villages and Mangaon. Accumulation of water at the Fodanghat bust station led to closure of Kanakani-Fodanghat Road. Road traffic has come to a standstill due to flooding at various places in Kankani and Malvan regions.Heavy rains continue to lash in the district of Kolhapur. 8 gates of Radhanagri Dam have been thrown open. Due to which danger of floods looms over villages on the Coast of Panganga River. However the villagers have been shifted to safe locations. The district administration is constantly keeping an eye on the situation.Meanwhile, the traffic has resumed on the Mumbai Pune expressway after it was closed due accumulation of water.
