Rainfall in Haryana beneficial for crops

Haryana recorded rainfalls ranging from 2 mm to 40 mm in the different parts of the state today. Ballabhgarh recorded highest 40.0 mm rainfall whereas Hissar and Fatehabad each recorded the lowest 2 mm rainfall. Rohtak, Sonipat, Nuh, Karnal, Panipat, Thanser and Rewari has recorded 10.0 to 24.0 mm rainfall.<br/>A spokesman of the Haryana Agriculture Department said at chandigarh that these rains have not only provided respite to the standing Rabi crops, but will also prove beneficial in enhancing the productivity and production specially that of Wheat, Mustard and Gram crops.
