Vigorous rainfall continues in Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and Uttrakhand with mercury hovering below the normal making the climatic conditions pleasant. Downpour is expected at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. Weathermen predict a cloudy sky with heavy spells of rain and thundershowers in the National Capital Region in next 48 hours. Maximum temperature was recorded at 33.5 degree Celsius, two notches below normal, while the minimum dipped to 26.5 degree Celsius in the day. Humidity levels oscillated between 72 and 89 percent.
