Rainfall brings down temperature in northern region

The rainfall in Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh has brought down the temperature in the region. Ambala in Haryana recorded 42.4 millimeter of rain, while Patiala in Punjab received 20 mm of downpour. Chandigarh received 5 mm rainfall till Wednesday evening. In Uttarakhand, rain, which lashed several parts, has brought down temperature in different parts of the state. AIR correspondent reports that bad weather affected the Char Dham and Hemkund Yatra in Garhwal region. Reports says vehicular traffic at many places have been affected following the landslides. Storm has affected power supply at few places in hilly areas.
