The Alipore Metrological Office in Kolkata has predicted that in the next 24 hours some areas of South Bengal may have rain and thunder squalls.<br/><br/>Because of these, there would be slight relief from the heat wave that has been sweeping most parts of South Bengal. But Met office says that there is possibility of heat wave prevailing in Purulia, Bankura and West Midnapore.<br/><br/>In Kolkata and its adjoining areas there would be cloudy sky with possibilities of rainfall during afternoon or later in the evening. <br/>
