In Uttar Pradesh, the monsoon rain lashed some more places in eastern and Terai region on Saturday afternoon. The people felt relief from intense heatwave that was tormenting the entire state for past one month.The rain lashed Gorakhpur, Pilibhit, Gonda and some part of Basti and Azamgarh division on Saturday afternoon. The weather has become pleasant in these areas and people came out in joy soaking the rain water, that has come after a long wait. The met office has predicted light to moderate rain in several divisions of eastern UP during next 24 hours. The farmers in eastern UP have started preparing nursery for paddy.
