Rain lashed several parts of Uttar Pradesh including capital Lucknow. The downpour for the past three days has brought down temperature several notches below normal. <br />'' <br />'' Rain accompanied with gusty winds and hailstorm have also caused loss to life and property. At least 9 people lost their lives in rain related incidents in the state. Rain and hailstorm have also damaged crops. <br />'' <br />'' AIR Correspondent reports, 'Unseasonal rains and hailstones have caused heavy loss to crops of wheat, mustard, potato including others. Water logging in fields and gusty winds have flattened the ripen crops. District administrations have constituted teams of officials for a survey of loss  to agriculture and provide relief. A Toll-free no 1800120909090 has been opened by the Agriculture department for farmers to claim agriculture insurance.<br />'' <br />'' Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has instructed district magistrates to provide financial assistance to the affected farmers and people within 24 hours. Meanwhile Met department has forecast rain and thunderstorm very likely at few places over the eastern part and at isolated places over the west part of the state today. <br />''  <br />
