In Uttar Pradesh the rain has lashed several districts of eastern and western regions during the day. The rain disrupted electric supply and normal traffic in these districts due to uprooting of trees and electric poles.AIR Gorakhpur correspondent reports that the level of river Ghaghra has again started rising at several places. It has crossed the warning level at Elgin Bridge in Barabanki.
