In Punjab,13 persons were reported killed due to rain related incidents in different parts of the state since last night. Of them, 4 persons were electrocuted in Ludhiana after heavy rain hit the city and three persons lost their lives in building collapse. A high level team of Punjab Government officials visited Ludhiana today and Government announced a compensation of one lakh rupees to the family of each one killed in Ludhiana. Trains running between Rupnagar and Una have been cancelled due to heavy rain.
