In Gujarat, normal life has been disrupted and several villages have been cut-off due to the torrential rain in the Kutch region on Monday. Quoting official sources, AIR Bhuj correspondent reports that ten persons have lost their lives in rain related accidents in Kutch on Monday. More than 400 millimeters of rain have been recorded in the eastern Kutch where several Border Security Force posts have also been marooned on Indo-Pak international border. AIR correspondent reports that water reservoirs, dams and rivers were swollen due to the heavy rain in the region and several people have been shifted to the safer places.Public life in Konkan is slowly coming on normalcy as the down pouring is finally stopped in Konkan region. AIR correspondent reports that train services however, continued to remain affected on Konkan route.
