Rain stopped the play for the third time today while Australia were 473 for six in their first innings against India on day 2 of the Adelaide Cricket test. Earlier, after the hosts resumed the play at the overnight score of 354 for 6, rain played spoilsport and the proceedings were disrupted. Skipper Michael Clarke, who retired hurt yesterday with a back pain, opened the day today and was at the crease on 109. Steven Smith was playing on 142.
